Dulbecco's Modified Eagle's Medium (DMEM) using sodium bicarbonate (3700mg/L) buffer system can maintain physiological pH in 5-10% CO2 ambient conditions. High-glucose DMEM medium is widely used in fast-growing, low-adherent cells, myeloma cells of hybridoma, clone cells, transformed cells of DNA transfection, various primary viral host cells, single cell culture, and vaccine production. SLE (Super low endotoxin) level, endotoxin ≤0.1 EU/mL.
Product Application
Dulbecco's Modified Eagle′s Medium (DMEM) is a modification of Basal Medium Eagle (BME) that contains four times the concentration of amino acids and vitamins. The original formulation contained 1000 mg/L of glucose and was used to culture mouse embryonic cells. At present, DMEM medium is available in a variety of formulations, including low sugar (1000mg/L)/high sugar (4500mg/L)/no sugar, and a variety of formulations with or without sodium pyruvate/L-glutamine, etc., to support the primary culture of mouse and chicken cells, as well as a variety of normal and transformed cells.
