Establishedin 2005, XP Biomed Ltd. started as a distribution and marketing company inShanghai, China. Over the years, we have promotedsmall & big biotech companies from around the world, such as MolecularDevice, Beckman Coulter, AB Sciex, Dako, HeMarina, Cell Culture Technology, Chemometec,BiologicalIndustries, etc.

In2014, a GMP compliant joint venture was setup with Israel Biological Industries(BI) in Shanghai,dedicatedto provide cell culture reagents to China market, such as serum, basal medium,buffers, auxiliary reagents and cytogenetic karyotyping medium.

AfterSartorius acquired BI in 2019, XP Biomed started independently with it’sown brand “VivaCell” in our new state of the art GMP compliant, ISO13485certified cleanroom. Besides original product line, we have expanded ourportfolio into animal component free products, and providing Dr.Cell™ technical services (China only), suchas: cellauthentication STR, speciesID, karyotyping, exosome NTA etc. Our products and services has been cited inmore than 300+ articles in SCI journals.
