Dulbecco's Modified Eagle Medium/Nutrient Mixture F12 Ham (DMEM/F12) combines the high concentrations of glucose, amino acids and vitamins of DMEM with various components of F-12. Containing L-glutamine and HEPES, the nutrient richness supports the growth of a variety of cells, including certain epithelial and endothelial cells.
Product Application
Dulbecco's Modified Eagle Medium/Nutrient Mixture F12 Ham (DMEM/F12) is a 1:1 mixture of DMEM and Ham's F-12 medium. This medium was originally formulated for rat neuroblastoma cells and MDCK cells.
