Made from adult healthy donkey blood as raw material, it is sterile collected, separated, and packaged through microporous filtration. After sterile collection, separation, and microporous filtration, it is characterized by clear liquid, low endotoxin, and no bacteria, fungi, mycoplasma, etc. It is suitable for sample sealing in immunohistochemistry or immunofluorescence experiments. The use of donkey serum to block the physical adsorption sites of protein substances in pre saturated tissue sections greatly reduces non-specific adsorption of detection antibodies by tissues.

Donkey serum has been used:

• as a component in blocking buffer for immunofluorescence
• in phosphate buffer saline (PBS) as a blocking agent
• as a blocking agent in frozen immunocytochemistry and immunohistochemistry
• to prevent nonspecific binding in parvalbumin immunohistochemistry
