Originally used in the culture of Antherea eucalypti cells, Grace's Insect Medium can be used to culture a variety of insect cells with appropriate supplementation.
Product Application
Grace's Insect Medium can be used for the growth and maintenance of insect cells, including cells from a variety of lepidopteran and some dipterans, with or without serum supplements. It is Grace's modified Wyatt medium, which is more chemically similar to that of insect hemolymph, and Grace has successfully established the first insect continuous cell line using this medium.
