Product Introduction
Soybean Trypsin Inhibitor derived from soybeans, is one of the several protease inhibitors discovered. Soybean Trypsin Inhibitor can inhibit trypsin and other serine proteases. Its mechanism of action is to form a stable, enzyme free complex with trypsin, which then binds to trypsin to reduce its availability. Soybean Trypsin Inhibitor has no animal derived components and are commonly used in serum-free cell culture. In a serum-free culture environment, Soybean Trypsin Inhibitor can neutralize excess trypsin, thereby avoiding the use of serum. Then the cells can be successfully resuspended in a suitable growth medium.
