Human serum albumin, the most abundant protein in human plasma, acts as a transporter of hormones, lipids, and other substances. Its main physiological function is to regulate plasma pH and maintain plasma osmotic pressure. Recombinant human albumin does not contain any animal-derived components, thus avoids the risk of blood-bome virus infection, and has higher stability and safety. This product was expressed in Pichia pastoris, and suitable for the growth of many cell types, such as mesenchymal stem cells, embryonic stem cells, induced pluripotent stem cells, and immune cells.
